The payment module can also be used for refunding an order in full or partially.
Orders paid by a gift card or in installments must be refunded directly via the Sogecommerce Back Office.
Orders paid in installments must be refunded directly via the Sogecommerce Back Office.
Prerequisites:
- This feature requires subscription to an offer Sogecommerce that includes the use of Web Services.
- REST API keys must be configured via the configuration of the (General configuration > REST API keys) module.
Making a refund:
- Sign into the OpenMage Back Office.
- Go to Sales > Invoices.
- Search for the order to refund and click View.
- Then click the Refund button.
- Enter the number of items and the amount for the refund and click the Refund button.
- WARNING: If you click Refund Offline, the refund will not be taken into account by the Sogecommerce. You will then have to perform validation manually via the Sogecommerce Back Office.
